Looks like NYSUT’s PALM (Powell, Adams, LeBron, Maloy) slate took the day.

Willa listened to WXXI Connections (Evan Dawson, Adrian Hall, Tim Macaluso, Jeremy Moule) as the numbers came in, and sent in the following message which was read on air as the coverage closed out:

Hi Evan,

I’ve been listening to your coverage. I smile to hear speculation on what the results mean.

There is an adage, “First get elected, then do good.”

All I can say is that it is a relief to have the primary done so my attention will no longer be divided between those two imperatives.

P.S. I am not looking for a record of years of service, but even with my long institutional memory, I don’t know the last School Board member to get elected to a 6th term.
