Our Core Message (An introduction, A reminder)

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

I bring a financial education, technical professional experience, and a 21 year Army Reserve Officer career to the School Board.  Objective observers know that I make a positive difference on the Board. 

COMPASSION – With four children enrolled in, or graduated from, RCSD schools, I am exceptionally qualified to understand parents’ needs and their desire for a quality education for their children.  I know how to incorporate human needs into the bureaucratic institution that is the school district.

COMPETENCE – Now is the time for disciplined fact-finding, not on-the-job training.  I have taken full advantage of my twelve years experience on the Board to truly understand the details of NYS education regulations and financing. 

MORAL COURAGE – Friendly audience or hostile, the truth is the truth, and I speak the truth.  Remaining quiet about inconvenient facts or difficult realities won’t solve problems.  Speaking up brings daylight to the issues the District faces.
